NANA & KUMI—#engagement

After the PREWED, what next? ITS THE #ENGAGEMENT!

The lovely #‎bride Nana was looking beautiful in her ‘KENTE’ (Kente,is a type of silk and cotton fabric made of interwoven cloth strips from Ghana, Africa) on her engagement day with great expectation for her #groom KUMI and his family. There sure was some butterflies flying around and I can tell from my angle through my lens that its going to be a quick one following the tradition of the Ghanian (A west Africa country).

The ceremony took place on the 11th of July, 2015 in London, England, in the London Borough of Croydon at the bride’s family home…and I can tell you the it was a great joy according to tradition, wherein the brides parent awaits their in-laws and grant their request by giving the hand of their daughter in marriage. Close family members where in attendance to celebrate the engagement and to congratulate the couple.

We heartily congratulate you Nana & Kumi on this joyous day! Looking forward to shooting the white wedding next week!

Enjoy the story as it unfolds…
